It was with great pleasure that I learned today of my acceptance to the graduate studies program in History at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I can’t begin to tell you what a relief it was to hear that at least one of the four schools I applied to will take me…whew!
At this point in time, I’m about 99% committed to UCSB, but I would still like to see what all my options are. If I do go to UCSB, my major professor will be Dr. Douglas H. Daniels, my all-time favorite professor from my undergrad days.
Things, as they say, could be much, much worse.
