Warbird Slope Racing at Cajon Pass

Yesterday (Saturday, April 26) I drove over to the Cajon Pass between Victorville and San Bernadino to witness the Inland Slope Rebel’s Warbird Slope Racing event. It was a great time, with 18 pilots competing and flying really beautiful (and FAST) scale gliders. It’s still amazing to me just how fast a nice glider can fly and still be powered only by the wind.

I took some photos which can be checked out here on SBslopers.org. Check it out!
