Scoped Out

View of the moon through a 10

We got a scope! I found a nice Discovery 10″ f/6 PDHQ via the CloudyNights.com classifieds and brought it home last week. Also picked up a couple eyepieces (Televue 24mm Panoptic and 13mm Nagler T6) and a Hotech laser collimator. We are set! The above photo was taken through the eyepiece using my phone camera and doesn’t even begin to describe the quality of views we can get through the scope, even in our relatively light polluted urban location. Can’t wait for our first dark skies outing!
