Flash PONG
For what it's worth, I consider PONG to be probably the best multiplayer video game ever created. I've loved this game ever since it came out, and currently own an original Atari Super PONG (Model # C-140), as well as a Sears Tele-Games PONG Sports IV. You might say I'm something of a PONG addict. (If you'd like to learn more about the history of PONG games--which were the first home video game systems, in case you didn't already know--I can't recommend a better resource than PONG-Story).
Since I program Flash for a living, it was really only a matter of time until I created my own version of Flash PONG. While this game certainly isn't a perfect representation of the gameplay of the real PONG systems, it's the best that I was able to come up with in the few hours that I spent working on the code. I hope you enjoy it!
NOTE: One of the limitations of Flash is that it's only able to sense the mouse location if the mouse is over the Flash movie itself (unlike Java, for example). For that reason, if you move your mouse outside of the black Flash PONG game area above, your paddle will stop responding. Don't freak out! Just put your mouse back inside the Flash PONG game area and you'll be fine. If it really bothers you, play Flash PONG with the keyboard instead.
