Just watched Steve Fossett on TV, he has successfully completed his solo round-the-world flight in the GlobalFlyer and returned back to Salina, Kansas safely in just over 67 hours. Even had enough fuel left over for a victory lap and up and down the runway.
Major aviation history has been made! He is the Charles Lindberg of our day.
