“Return of the Scorcher” is a 27 minute film studying the use of bicycles in China, Amsterdam, and the United States. It is perhaps most famous for introducing the term Critical Mass as relates to bicycles, and thereby helping give rise to the monthly bicycle “protest/celebration/whatever” of the same name that are held all over the world (including here in Santa Barbara the last Friday of every month). It’s a seminal and important film, and cool to watch. Enjoy 🙂
