My friend John Hygelund, the organizer of the very popular Bike Moves monthly event, broke his kneecap riding recently and has been off his bike for 6 weeks. He wanted to participate in the last Bike to Work event being held this month, so put the word out to the local cycling community via Facebook asking if anyone could give him a tow – on his adult-sized custom made “Big Wheel”. I answered the call and we had a fun 11 mile ride out to Goleta together. Good times!
